Our truck-mounted Mobile Mine Rescue Winders (MMRW) are designed to address the urgent need for rapid response and resolution to underground mining emergencies and safety incidents.
Engineered with safety and operators in mind, our MMRWs are fully roadworthy and self-powered, with patented hydraulics and winder technology, allowing rescue teams to respond faster, mitigate risk of death, and reduce mine downtime. The Ultra Deep Level Mobile Rescue Winder can reach depths of 3,000m.
It is mounted on a Mercedes Benz Axor 3535 8 x 4 truck with rough terrain capability, and can take six people to this depth, ten people to 2,000m and 15 people to 1,000m.
1400mm Weldox drum with double brake paths, each having two Svendborg 3000 series disc brakes, 19 mm non-spin rope for unguided conveyance in a rescue situation, and an Electric drive system, powered by a diesel generator.
